Sharing is caring!

Here is a little info about me to get you started!

I am so happy you are here in my little corner.
First, I want to Thank you for Subscribing ❤ I appreciate it more than you know!

Blogging is my creative outlet where I can share things that I love & feel inspired by the world.

The most important thing I could tell you about myself – besides the fact that I take a lot of photographs (I mean seriously, A-lot!) – is that I am a child of God, mother, wife & grandmother & a mama to my fur babies! I have 1 dog named Brindle & 4 kitties, Natty, Jack, Blu & Miz. They are spoiled, to say the least, and we love them so much. I am so blessed with my life & I thank God daily for it!

Linen and Wildflowers

There are a few things I do have to warn you about! 🙂

I’m a coffee lover, passionate about animals, and love to thrift & antique. I also have a deep love for music; most times, you will find me rocking out to Southern Rock, especially to my favorite Southern band, Lynyrd Skynyrd. Okay, now that I’ve told you a little about myself!

I am not just a blogger!

I have been self-employed for over 20 years.

Blogging is not only a creative outlet for me. Sharing my love for thrifting & antiquing to fill my home with things I love. I find joy in decorating and making my home cozy & inviting.
When I’m not blogging about things I love, you will find me running two businesses, daycare & photography. When I am not enjoying time with my sweet family, loving up on my daycare clan, or hanging out behind the camera, you will find me doing projects on my 1885 home & decorating it with antiques & thrift finds.

I am a busy gal, but I can accomplish a lot with a system in place. However, if my to-do list doesn’t get done, that’s ok! I have to give myself grace & save it for the next day! Want to know how I do it all? Check out my schedule & how I manage to run two businesses, blogging & be there for my family!

A fun fact about Dusty!

My name Dusty is a childhood nickname!
How did I get that nickname?
When I was little, about five years old, I loved to play in the dirt. I was always dirty….no matter how many times my mama would bathe or wash me up. As soon as I got outside, I would get so dirty in a matter of minutes! From then on, the nickname stuck!

Again, Thank you for subscribing. I am looking forward to sending inspiration your way!
