Using antiques & vintage finds to incorporate in my home decor without spending a fortune!

Antiquing is one of my favorite things to do. I try to go often to find some Unique Treasures when we do not have things planned. Life tends to get busy around here! We had been planning an antiquing day for a few weeks now & we finally made it happen this past weekend.

venturing to a new antique store

My husband, daughter & I made the trip to a new antique store that we heard about through my daughter’s friend. It was a long drive with a lot of beautiful farmland, so the scenic route made the drive pleasant.

I am on the hunt for some unique treasures

I was on the hunt for a couple of things I had on my list but I was not successful with any finds this time. However, I did find some beautiful & unique treasures to add to my decor! I know, how much more decor do I need? LOL. It’s always nice to change things around. 🙂

This beautiful framed flower art was so pretty & unique that I could not pass it up. The glass was beveled and I love the beautiful colors of the floral print. The $20 tag was just the right price for this unsuspecting find. I love how it looks hanging next to my hutch in the dining room.

The very old crock was a great find too because it is the perfect size for a plant.  There are no markings but you can see how aged it is on the rim. For only $5, you can’t beat that!

Unique Treasures

I love old wind-up alarm clocks. This clock is darling & looks perfect displayed on my bookcase in my living room.  I am unsure if it works though, so I will have to mess around with it to see if I can get it to work. It reminds me of the alarm clock my Mommom had on her nightstand next to her bed. What darling find for only $5!

little vintage details

I have been wanting to replace the knob on my little jelly cabinet that my husband bought for me many years ago. I wanted to add a vintage knob but could never find one that had that charm to it. This little flowered $5 knob is so pretty & it was exactly what I was looking for!

True vintage refrigerator dishes can be pricey, but I found this one for only $3. I use glass containers all the time & I am happy I can add this to my collection. This is the perfect size for storing extra butter in a fridge!

Unique Treasures

I am not much of a fake floral kind of gal. But if they are life-like & are well made,  I will add them to my decor. I found this bunch for under $3. It adds the perfect touch to my little ironstone creamer on the shelf & not to mention, some color too!

Make it an amazing day!
