How to remove adhesive from glass is so easy. All you need is two household ingredients and a blade or scraper.

We all have been there! Whether it’s a frame or glass jar, a sticker is not easy to remove. You start to remove the sticker only to have some part of the sticker or adhesive residue still on the glass.

I usually have a bottle of Goo Be Gone on hand and realized I was out of it. So what do I do in a pinch? Make my own Adhesive Remover! It is so easy to do with two household ingredients & a scraper.

Here is a simple DIY hack on how to remove adhesives from glass.

Use a pot, basin or fill the sink with hot water. Add a few squirts of Dawn dish soap and about a cup of distilled vinegar. Place your glass item in the solution & let it sit for about 10 to 20 minutes. Soak for additional time as needed.

Take a scraper or razor blade and scrape the adhesive carefully off the glass. You may already to the label floating. A brillo pad or sponge will also help to remove the excess glue.

Can it be made for a spray bottle?

Yes, absolutely! Add a squirt of dawn dish soap, then add 1 part distilled vinegar and 1 part very warm water into a spray bottle. Screw nozzle back on & shake well.

Spray on the area you need label or sticker removed & let sit for 10 minutes or so. Then take a razor blade or scraper to remove the adhesive.

There you have it! The easiest hack for removing adhesive off of the glass.

Until next time y’all!
