Homemade Maple Almond Granola Recipe

This recipe for homemade granola is so easy to make. It is loaded with nuts, maple syrup, Cinnamon, vanilla, coconut, Hemp & Chia seeds, dried fruit & rolled oats.
In the past, I always bought granola at the supermarket until I started making my own. It is less expensive to make homemade granola, but it is more hearty, delicious & healthier. Better yet, you have control over what ingredients are added.
The recipe for Homemade Maple Almond Granola Recipe is not only healthy but vegan too & only takes 5 minutes to whip up before putting it in the oven.
Ingredients for Granola
- Rolled Oats
- Hemp Seeds
- Chia Seeds
- Cinnamon
- Maple syrup
- Almonds (Pecans or Walnuts are also a great option)
- Coconut flakes
- Oil (Coconut or Olive)
- Pepitas (Pumpkin Seeds)
- Vanilla extract
- Your choice of dried fruit
Directions for making granola
Preheat oven to 350
Line baking sheet or Pan with Parchment paper.
In a large bowl, add all ingredients & mix well. Spread granola mixture onto a lined baking sheet. Take Spatula to spread out. Bake for 10-12 minutes, stir and bake for additional 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven, add your choice of dried fruit, & let it cool completely before breaking up into pieces. Store in a seal-tight container.
Tip: make ahead the night before & let cool overnight. This way, it will be completely cooled down & easier to break apart into bigger pieces.
What kind of dried fruit can be added to home granola?
Whatever you fancy! However, this totally optional. But if your heart desires, try Cranberries, apricots, apples, prunes, raisins, peaches, or even mixed fruit will be delicious too!
How long is homemade granola good for?
Granola stored in an airtight container can last for up to 6 weeks. However, it is so tasty, and it won’t last that long.

When going to the grocery store, go into the bulk section and load up on the oats, dried fruit, nuts & seeds. The nice thing about this Granola recipe is that you can customize it to your own recipe. Get creative!

Ingredients
- 4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup nuts, unsalted almonds
- 1/2 cup raw pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
- 3 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1/4 cup hemp seeds
- 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup melted oil (coconut or Olive)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup Pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Line baking sheet or Pan with Parchment paper.
