Raw honey is so good for you, too.

There are many health benefits to adding raw honey to your diet. We buy raw honey often. It usually comes in a large mason jar or a jug. I didn’t care that I would have to pull out the large container every time; I  just needed a teaspoon of honey for my daily cup of green tea.

So, I have been searching for a small honey jar that would fit into my kitchen decor. I wanted it to look aged and have some charm.

Authentic antique honey jars are hard to come by these days and can be costly when you find them. Not to mention, I have not found any in antique stores, and I have only seen some online stores.

I just happened to be searching for a honey jar online.

I came across a farm in Eastern Oregon that sells just what I have been looking for. Not only do they sell raw honey, but they also sell candles, Bee Pollen, and so much more. Let me say that I was thrilled to find exactly what I had been looking for. I love how it looks on the shelf in my kitchen.

It is such a cute little jar, too!

I have had this honey jar for a couple of weeks now, and I love it. It is the perfect size for making a cup of afternoon tea, and I don’t have to struggle to get a big jug off the shelf. The convenience of having just the right amount of honey at my fingertips and the charming aesthetics of the wooden dipper and rustic jar have truly elevated my tea-time ritual.

These little pleasures make everyday moments feel special, and I’m grateful to have stumbled upon this delightful addition to my kitchen decor.

Commonly Asked Questions

How much honey does the jar hold?

It just depends on the size. The honey jar pot typically holds around 8 to 12 ounces of honey, providing an ample supply for everyday use without taking up too much space on your kitchen counter or shelf.

Is the wooden dipper easy to clean?

Yes, the wooden dipper is easy to clean. After each use, rinse it with warm water and mild soap and allow it to air dry. To maintain its quality and durability, avoid soaking the wooden dipper for prolonged periods.

Can the honey jar pot be used to store other foods besides honey?

While primarily designed for storing honey, the honey jar pot can also be used for storing other viscous liquids such as maple syrup or agave nectar. However, to prevent flavor transfer, it’s best to avoid storing acidic or strongly flavored foods in the jar.

Is the honey jar pot airtight to preserve the freshness of the honey?

While the honey jar pot is not typically airtight like a sealed container, it has a lid that helps keep dust and debris out. Honey has natural preservative qualities, so when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, it can maintain its freshness for extended periods.

How should I store the honey jar pot when not in use?

Store the honey jar pot in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources when not in use. This helps preserve the quality of the honey and prevents the jar from becoming damaged or discolored over time. Additionally, ensure the lid is securely in place to keep dust and debris out.
