These 1inexpensive ideas to update your space can feel so refreshing, especially when you don’t want to spend alot of money. Furthermore, with just a few items that you may already have lying around in your home or stored in your attic, you can have an updated look in your home.

Decorating my home to make it warm & inviting has always been something I always enjoy doing, even though I am not an interior designer, I know what I like and how I like it to be displayed in our home to make it beautiful.

Shop your home first

Before you go shopping, shop your home first! For instance, Do you have furniture & decor stored in the attic, basement, or another room for storage? Start there before heading out to your local home decor store.

Baskets are wonderful for storing items because they certainly add a beautiful texture & contrast to any space in your home.

2. Bowls

Layer items like shells, antlers, pine cones, or even unique items like a collection of antique finials make an excellent statement centerpiece.

3. Plates & Platters

Design a wall with various plates or platters to add dimension to your space.

4. Rearrange the Furniture

Considering moving furniture around will undoubtedly give it a whole new look & feel.

5. Shop your own home

Use decor or furniture pieces that you have stored away. Bring them out and repurpose them.

6. Statement Wall

Create an accent wall by experimenting with color or adding wallpaper.
